The corporation, after the death of the founder, relocated to Farmington Connecticut, where it developed branded freezers which were used to sell its ice cream products in various supermarkets. Various developments of products, sales strategies, and management accompany the progress of the company with the la test development at 2010. It introduced a new product; ‘Thick, Rich & Dreamy Low Fat Ice Cream’. The company has its headquarters in Atlanta, but has various franchises in 25 States and seven countries (The Carvel Corporation). Carvel products are categorized into three groups; take home treats, cakes, and Carvel Special Ties. The company offers take home novelty treats, freshly made hand tipped ice cream, premium ice cream cakes, and soft serve ice cream. What is Wisdom?   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  At first glance, wisdom would be defined as the ability to apply knowledge. However, there is much more to wisdom than just that brief of a statement. The New Expanded Webster’s Dictionary defines wisdom as â€Å"sound judgement and sagacity; prudence; learning or erudition (pg 378)† What exactly does this definition mean? Some fallacies about wisdom include: confusing wisdom with intelligence, having a college degree, having common sense, or simply having life experiences. In order to prove these fallacies wrong, the definition of wisdom needs to be explored.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚     Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  The dictionary meaning of wisdom included the words sagacity and erudition. Sagacity, according to the dictionary, means â€Å"quickness of discernment; shrewdness; high intelligence (pg 292).† Erudition means â€Å"learning, knowledge gained by study; scholarship (pg 113).† When looking at these definitions, one can see that they involve high intelligence, discernment, and knowledge gained by study. Upon scrutinizing these words even further, one can deduce that wisdom is the ability to discern, given a high intelligence and knowledge gained by study. The main purpose of farce is to make people laugh, so as a result the laughter connects people and becomes a means of agreement among them. Ratajczakowa distinguishes five types of texts according to their level of comedy and association with farce or comedy:The low comical that uses only means of farce to induce laughter;The moderately that uses using humour as a way of expression and intellectualisation;The highly comical that limits humour and uses various aesthetic categories to bring a smile and emotion to the addressee;The tragicomic that connects non comical matters with comical representations which makes the audience confused and evokes contrasting emotions;The non comical abandoning humour that does not even try to evoke a pleasant mood. Farce is funded on none of these principles, since it is much more independent, disordered, and amorphic. It is a way of expressing mockery of a lower class of the world, so that the body language is the language of farce. With time, these two genres have evolved in a complex relation to each other, it is even believed that without farce's vulgarity and carnality, comedy would be tedious. 1.3. Physical humour With time, salacious jokes and physical humour have been added to the concept of low comedy, so the concept of physical humour has become extremely popular among comedians. Buddhism as Freedom from Negativity The title of this paper is posed as a question so that one can explore and investigate if Buddhism and meditation can bring the mind freedom from negativity. One of the most important things I have learned thus far, is that anger and hatred are based on projections and exaggeration, not on objectivity or wisdom. This stikes me as very important in my search for how to release negativity. If we can accept that things feelings do not come from wisdom, that it may be possible to realize that they are fundamentally incorrect.
